Wearing: Bright red tee, jeans, no socks and black sneakers. Definitely casual. Hell, they are lucky I'm here at all!
Listening to: Unabridged version of Particia Cornwall's From Potter's Field. Find it mildly entertaining but not at all first class. Also reading her Jack the Ripper nonfiction book, finding it more interesting that the afore mentioned novel. Have seen her on TV a couple a' times and found her to have an interesting insight on things like profiling, forensics, etc.
Will be working at the Library tomorrow, 9:00- 2:00. Actually looking forward to it. A chance to catch up on stuff.
I like Kelly Clarkson's No. 1 hit. Nice hook, great delivery. Overall a better than good first shot. Lisa Presley is some kind of cult thing. I just don't get it. For the longest time I thought Biorjk's song was actually Madonna! Not real up on pop. I hate Creed, Uncle Cracker is good though. Cold Play, yeah. Nora Jones, yeah. Dianna Krall, yeahyeahyeah! Garbrial Anders, yeah. Notice the way I slid over into cool jazz!
Well, I cleaned my desk, that was this morning, I'm now working at the library. We're moderately busy, more students than the Spring Semester for some reason. Some of the profs are posting their class notes on the campus intranet, cutting down on the numbers coming in to copy notes on Reserve. But others come in for the first time and are pleased at our selections and service and they come back.
OK, want my Politics? One question: Where are the WMD's?
It's raining again this evening. Rained all morning, now it's raining again. I can't see outside but I can hear it pelting the roof. Off and on, everyday for about 10 months now. Ground is saturated down to a depth of 5 inches. We're 10 inches ahead of normal, 4 inches from a record year and it's not even July. If you want to see the precipitation, click the Atlanta Weather link in the left hand column.
I accompanied a researcher out to the National Archives Southeast Region this morning (pouring rain) to go through some Polio records from 1955-56. He found what he was looking for and was effusive in his praise for moi for facilitating his efforts. I found it a fun experience, beginning to end. I'm doing the same thing for a researcher looking into Swine Flu, 1976-78.
Going now to listen to the adudio version of From Potter's Field by Patricia Cornwell (I'm becoming a fan of hers of several levels). Good Night Bloggers!

My desk here at work is a mess: Papers everywhere, personal stuff mixed with work stuff, p-nut butter, bread crumbs, cokes, CD's (Work and personal music CD's). It's really gross. I've got to clean this up!

Welcome visiting Bloggers, to an upbeat site, where we don't morn lost loves or the fate life has thrown us. We just accept it and move on!
Wearing: Gray-green cotton slacks from Targai' and bright white ribbed cotton tee.
Listening to: Thirty Eight Special
Pictures from the Joyful Celebration are in, I'll post a couple. Pictures of the beautiful women of the class of Airport High School, 1964, are also on the way.
I thought about starting a blog dealing with nothing but Guitar Talk. I could go on and on about acoustic guitars and music, but few would be interested. Roo, What's a Crafter Guitar? Is that like one of our Martins or Taylors?
Not blogging as often as I did before. Dreamt about certain bloggers last night, thought I had better catch up.
Raining everyday here in the Sunny South, USA. Temp gets up around 84 and then the skies darken followed by a deluge. Flash flooding all around Atlanta where streams are located. A year ago we were in severe drought. No more!
