Friday, my favorite day! Here's my itenarary: Pick up check from the Library (11:30); Cash check at Latino Check Cashing place ("Los Cambios..." 11:45); Have lunch at Atlanta Bread Co. (Turkey w/lettuce and tomato only, on a hard role); Check out stuff at Best Buys (12:15- 12:45); Get a haircut (1:00-1:20); Back to work (2:00).
2:00-4:00 I'll be visiting several offices, boxing up files, talking to scientists about their old records, deciding what needs to be kept and what can be destroyed (according to the Government Record Retention Schedules).
Then, around 4:00, I'll either trip up to Lenox Square, or head home. On the way I'll rent a coupla' DVD's. I'll also stop off at Galaxy Music and check out some vintage guitars for sale there. Finally home, hang out with the big red dog, and watch the DVD's or USA Network or Spike or FX or CNN or FoxNews (the station I love to hate) wait till Deb get's home, (9:30) and fix her coffee, help her relax (a foot massage). We'll watch TV (Deb likes the Broadcast networks, ABC/NBC/CBS)l till it's time for bed. We'll go upstairs ("night, night Sniff"), pile the covers on us and snuggle to keep warm (coldest night of the year). And in the end, we'll give thanks that we have such a good life!

I posted some new music from Mimsk8. There is a wealth of music loops to be found there. From the jarring jagged, dumbeat I had before to this soulful melody. Then there are some positivly happy, bouncy tunes as well as soaring flights of the spirit. I urge you to visit and give a listen. If you'd like to post some music to your blog, just copy the code associated with the music you like and paste it into your template. It's free and easy. Some folks don't like it, I think it's kind of neat. And if I get tired of it, or change my mood, I can just change the music!
Wearing: Navy cashmere pullover, faded olive cotton slacks
Feeling: Pretty good for a change!
Since we're in the music spotlight, I downloaded some nifty recording software for free that will allow me to record and post 30 second snippits of all my songs (like the ones to the right). I did one today of a song called Silverbird, but for some reason I couldn't upload it to the FTP. I'll try again tomorrow. Also I sent Mike (Fig) Romanyszyn a copy of each of my CD's (there are 3). I haven't seen Fig in 35 years! He was one of the original members of the International Silverstring Submarine Marching Jug Band. Fig played guitar, banjo, fiddle as well as classical violin. I played Jug! I found him online and sent him my music. It's sure to send him reeling into psychydellic memory land. I can't wait to hear his response!
