Mike has found me a computer, his son's girlfriend's I think who is getting a new one. I've ordered MS Office from our Employee program, but mostly I'll be working on recording. Mike and I will be able to trade tracks via e-mail, etc.
I recently bought a Casio keyboard from a pawn shop for $45.00. It's MIDI compatable with 127 voices, different rhythms, lots of features. I lover it. Once you play around with a keyboard, your musical scope is expanded far beyond the simple plunka-da-plunk of a guitar. You can see for miles and miles and miles. And to top it off, Mike is an exceptional pianist and organist (deep into Beethoven).
All for now, work to finish up before I go for the weekend. Toodles

Mike and I are collaborating on a song called 'Gravity'. We are story-boarding it, drawing out the scenarios for each verse. We have a good hook and chorus, I've got an idea for the first and seconc verse, I'll fill in the words later today. Mike has a since of how he wants the meter and tempo. The approach will be a little bit tongue-in-cheek which happens to be my favorite genre. What good fun!!!
Meanwhile, I seem to have misplaced my glasses. What a pain. Not in the car, not at home, not at Mike's house. I had them Friday night, Saturday too, I think...can't imagine where they are. Maybe at Zio's on US 281 (very tasty Italian for $10.00 BTW).
Also, I have somehow switched my nights and days. I'm up till all hours of the morning then having to go to work feeling like a zombie. Then when I get home, 5-ish, I immediately nod off. I awake around midnight, ready for another long night/day ahead. Damn! I guess the best way to change it back is to stay up till 10:00PM tonight and then crash till 6:30 in the morning. That's my plan anyway.
