Another beautiful winter day in this southern paradise, high almost 60, brisk wind in the pines. Spent a cool coupl'a hours with Dale, Jo and Rebecca. We feasted on leftovers. The pecan pie was divine.
Hope to hear from the Town Clerk at Society Hill, SC tomorrow. Would like to get that job, get some money flowing. Also, sending my application for a library job in Dahlonega, GA, home of the North Georgia Mountain Gold Rush and home to several operating mine-your-own-nugget mines. As far as I'm concerned, that's a dream job that will take me into old age gracefully.
Mixed feelings about the current transition: Not at all unhappy to leave Atlanta, just unhappy the way I'm leaving the house to foreclosure and all. I didn't want to do that but my timing on all this really sucks.
All for now. Go Bloggers, get the ball!

It's a beautiful Christmas here in Columbia, SC, partly cloudy after a morning shower, a warm breeze blowing my heart around, temp around 60. I love Warm and windy weather in December!,
I've applied for a temporary job in upstate South Carolina, helping the town of Society Hill set up an archives. It would solve a lot of problems for a month. further plans also call for applying for a job as Night Librarian for a college in the North Georgia Mountains.
I'm happy to be spending Christmas with my family after 12 years of holidays with my soon-to-be- Ex's family. Not that I dont' love them dearly, it's just that my family is family. Merry Christmas Bloglanders!
